Comprehensive privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data MacroRadar uses, why it is needed, and how you can exercise control over it.

1. Identity and contact details of the controller

Yael Ortega, operating under the MacroRadar trade name, controls the personal data used to administer the site, community, memberships, and MacroRadar Pro.

2. Personal data we may process

Depending on your interaction and membership, we may receive:

  • Name, email address, country, and contact information.
  • Pre-launch registration, consent, promotional code assignment, and email-delivery status.
  • Discord username or identifier and the OAuth authorization needed to connect the account; MacroRadar does not receive your Discord password.
  • Membership, subscription status, dates, amounts, invoices, and payment references.
  • Limited payment-method information made available by Stripe, such as brand and last digits; MacroRadar does not receive the complete card number or security code.
  • Posts, comments, reactions, points, level, attendance, and community interactions.
  • Support messages and technical information needed to install, license, or diagnose MacroRadar Pro.
  • Appeal requests, Discord username, explanation, and evidence submitted to review a sanction.
  • Basic technical logs generated by hosting or security systems, such as IP address, browser, device, date, and time.

MacroRadar does not request MT5 passwords, broker credentials, online-banking credentials, recovery phrases, or sensitive personal data. Do not send them by email, Discord, or support forms.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data is used for purposes necessary to provide and protect the service:

  • Record pre-launch interest and send the requested promotional code once.
  • Process and verify a purchase and connect it to the selected plan.
  • Grant, maintain, suspend, or end access to Discord and MacroRadar Pro.
  • Administer levels, points, participation, sessions, and available content.
  • Provide support, answer questions, and prevent fraud or unauthorized use.
  • Review, document, and resolve community-moderation appeals.
  • Send receipts, renewal reminders, service changes, and essential membership communications.
  • Meet contractual, accounting, tax, security, and legal obligations.

We do not use personal data for third-party advertising. If optional marketing communications are added later, they will be identified as such and you may unsubscribe without affecting your membership.

4. Service providers, platforms, and international transfers

MacroRadar uses technology providers that may process data on our behalf or under their own privacy notices, including:

  • Stripe: checkout, recurring charges, billing, and the customer portal.
  • Discord: community, sessions, interactions, roles, and communications.
  • Hostinger: site hosting and infrastructure logs.
  • Email providers: operational messages and support.

These providers may operate infrastructure outside Mexico. Only information needed to deliver the service, protect rights, perform the agreement, or comply with law is shared. Stripe and Discord also apply their own privacy policies when you interact directly with them.

5. Access, correction, deletion, objection, and consent rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or objection to processing of your personal data; revoke consent where applicable; or request that use be limited. Email contacto@macroradar.mx with the subject “Privacy rights” and include:

  • Your name and a means to receive notices.
  • A document reasonably establishing your identity or representation.
  • A description of the data and right you wish to exercise.
  • Information that helps locate your account or membership.

We will communicate a decision within the periods required by applicable law. Certain information may remain blocked while needed for tax, contractual, security, or legal-defense obligations.

Deleting personal data and canceling a subscription are different processes. To stop future charges, use the Stripe portal.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as necessary to administer the membership and meet legal obligations. It is then deleted, anonymized, or blocked as applicable. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

The private portal uses a strictly necessary, secure, access-restricted cookie to recognize a member session after Discord is linked. MacroRadar does not use first-party advertising cookies. Stripe, Discord, and other external services may use necessary technologies or their own preferences when you visit their pages.

7. Changes to this notice

Changes will be published at this same address and the document date will be updated. A material change to the use of personal data may also be communicated by email or Discord.

This notice is governed by applicable Mexican private-sector personal-data law.
